Many women are concerned about the impact of medications on breastfeeding. Have a look at the American Academy of Pediatrics 2013 news release on Breastfeeding mothers and transfer of drugs and therapeutics. This publication reaffirms that the majority of medications and immunizations are safe during lactation.

We hope to soon add a “parent portal” that will allow caregivers to review oral health concepts outside the dental o ce. Furthermore, with development of the pOHP (Prenatal Oral Health Program) underway, we are excited to extend the message of preven on to expec ng mothers.
